Identity n°5 performs a political hybridisation, confronting humanity with the domesticated and exploited animal. The figure, with its frontal gaze and a body marked by bovine patterns and horns, embodies the tension between exploitation and incarnation. Ironic, provocative elements — the toothpick, the open mouth — question the hidden violence of our consumption habits and our relationship with flesh. The work transcends portraiture to interrogate our own condition as "bodies of flesh" and the fragility of identity in the face of alienation.
